We are Shane and Cathy Taylor.  Here’s the scoop on us. . .

Life is good in Maple Valley, WA where we are raising two handsome and energetic boys.  For 11 years we have kept our décor pink free.  Not any more.  In the spring of 2009 we are traveling to China to meet and care for our new daughter.  Maya’s family and pink painted room are eagerly waiting for the princess to come home. 

In the meanwhile, Shane serves as the Lead Pastor of Common Ground Church (www.cgchurch.com) and Cathy, the Part-Time Director of Involvement, serves at the church as well.  We started Common Ground Church in March of 2004 and we have a ton of fun working together.  The best part is helping under-churched and over-churched people find Jesus’ love and truth.    

We created this blog as a window for family, friends and kindred spirits to interact with our stories, mishaps and adventures.
